We enjoyed our dinner with 3 adults and 3 kids. I particularly recommend the crusted trout, the mushroom risotto was also delicious and we liked the boiled peanuts. The staff was super helpful with our family. It's a small space but beautiful views and a nice decor. Kid friendly atmosphere and menu. The signature cocktails were very good.

My wife and I came here for dinner and the food and service was great. I got the Mac and cheese with grilled chicken. The Mac and cheese was so creamy. I loved it. My wife got the burger, which was nothing crazy, but it was good. The fries were well seasoned and crispy. I would go back. Only negative was drink prices. 16 for an espresso martini. Felt like I was in Miami paying that for a drink.

The rooftop outdoor seating has the most amazing views anywhere. We were seated promptly and got a few recommendations from Gabe. We ordered and food arrived fairly quickly. My husband ordered The Roof chicken sandwich with fries. He ordered extra hot sauce to put on it and said it was fantastic as were the fries. I ordered the shrimp cakes and the southern Caesar. Both were amazing but the southern Caesar salad with the smoked trout dressing was beyond heaven. I have never had a better Caesar salad in my life. My hubby kept stealing forkfuls. We love coming to this restaurant when we are in Ellijay and look forward to our next trip so we can eat here.

We really enjoyed our stop in at The Roof. The sandwiches were delicious and huge portions. The cocktails were phenomenal, and the beer was cold. The service was great. There usually is wait and there was tonight, but we were able to sit at the bar for quicker service.

I drove down from Knoxville TN to explore Ellijay, GA after seeing several IG posts. The Roof was one of the places mentioned. The food was good as were the drinks and my waitress was awesome. Will be back to hang on the roof and hopefully catch the sunset.

Been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. This time I had the chicken marsala. Very delicious. Perfect little stop after a hike for a good sunset and soul food.

The best burger and french fries I’ve ever had in months. The service was also pretty good—friendly staff and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, great view of the city, made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in town.

This was such an amazing idea of a spot to grab a bite to eat. After making our way to the top (elevator or stairs) we enjoyed the panoramic views of the local community and the beautiful mountains in the back drop. Our window seats continued to give us these continuous views as we proceeded to place our order. The appetizers were delicious, as were our meals. We had zero complaints with our food. The waitress was sweet and polite, and a gentleman we can only assume was the owner was extremely friendly and made us feel like regulars. Definitely will find our way back here whenever we come back.
